Does This Girl Like Me?

So, theirs this girl that i like, we're both in grade 7, and I want to know if she likes me back. I have caught her looking at me before, in class she turns her head back and glances, and if I look up she looks away and back at her work. But recently she has been looking at me by resting her head down and peeking at me every so often. There is a DEFFINITE time where I caught her looking at me, so, my class was on a field trip to a old First Nations Jesuit place, and we were all sitting in the large church area, and I was wearing sunglasses, so you couldn't see my eyes. But I was looking at her (just with my eyes, my head was facing forward, so she would get the impression im looking straight at the person talking. ) But I caught her looking at me, for a good 20 seconds. Now for body language, whenever I talk to her she has her body turned towards me and is paying good attention (or so she seems to.) and, sometimes I'm using my phone and looking at it, she will come and stand RIGHT beside me, normally not touching, but she's practicaly standing right on top of me, their have been times where we have sustained contact while she looked at whatever I was showing her, and other times when we only graze each other. (This has only happened once) their was this time I was sitting on a bench, and my friend standing behind me, and she came and sat next to me with several of her friends. She, was sitting closest to me and chatting up a storm, often emphasizing her point by poking my arm and leg. And at one point she actuslly grabbed my lower leg for more emphasis. Although I forgot the context. She is also friendly in person, never refusing a quick chat. And a few times where I'm just standing around (for example in the soccer net as the players are all at the other end) she asks if I'm okay (supposedly because I look bored.) now texting, we text a decent amount. I do have her number, but we prefer to use Instagram. We used to text quite a bit before, almost every night, but recently the texting has slowed, we still talk, but not as much, were generally texting in a group chat. She also laughs at some of my jokes, despite how bad they are. But now she has told me she likes another guy, and now I'm getting mixed signals. She still acts the same as before but now I'm not as sure as I was before that she likes me.

I also forgot to add, thier was a time I was doing some digital art in my class for free time, and the girl came up beside me on my desk and watched, and she was basically on top of me, her hand on the back of the chair touching my back. And when she went over to her friends I didn't hear what they said but I heard her say "shut up" sounding someone flustered. And this has happened, where she has walked by my desk, with plenty of room, and she grazes me with her elbow, and one time full on bumped into me. (I'm sitting in the centre row in a single desk as the very back of the class) sometimes she has enough room to move, sometimes she dosn't

Maybe, since despite all the signals you didn't progress the relationship, she's decided that you just want to be friends and is now noticing others. Or maybe she thinks taking an interest in others might encourage you. Or maybe she wasn't ever looking for more than a friend. One way to find out might be to suggest you go socialise together to some event. Try to move the relationship on and see if your advances are welcomed or rejected. Better than folk giving you their best guess.

The best way you'll know for sure is to make a move and ask her out. If you spend too long noting and analysing every glance/conversation/touch you will probably find it's too late and she has moved on

You are in grade 7? How old are you? In most countries it would make you around 12/13. If that is so then wasting your time on this sort of stuff will not help you to do well at school. Having said that this post is very similar to lots of others over the last few months so I am wondering just what is going on here.
