What's Wrong With My Period?

Hi' I'm 22 years old . I recently had my period or I think I did but I'm not sure. Usually my period last 7 to 8 days and medium to heavy with birth control.Though this time my period was very light and lasted only 3 days maybe a little spotting on day 4 but nothing after that. I also usually get get bloating and really bad cramps, sore breast the day before my period but this time I got nothing like that. Now I have bloating and sore breast. I know it wasn't break through bleeding because usually stops a day after and my period was suppose to come then. It's been a week since my period stopped.

Don't panic, it doesn't sound a big deal.
Are you on the contraceptive pill and have you had any children?
Are these "cramps" that you describe....one sided in your stomach?
Two things come to mind a) you may be pregnant b) this is Mittelsmertz (ovulation pain)
Monitor the situation.

I think it's quite normal for periods to change. In my teens early 20's mine were very irregular...then suddenly they were every 28 days without fail..

I'd be concerned if you're bleeding in-between periods or after sex. That should always be checked.
