If you had been married 10 years (one child) and your partner was unfaithful a couple of times with a stranger, possibly/probably with texts in between, would you forgive them?

I know this has happened as a result of long-standing stress, alongside depression, and I love him deeply, but this comes on top of other pretty appalling behaviour this year, and part of me does think that adultery is an unambiguous breaking of marriage vows. Lying is a deal-breaker for me and having found out he's been lying Im not sure I'll really ever believe him again.

What do you think? Is it forgiveable? Can trust be regained?

Be strong love, sounds as though u are already. It scares me to think that are we ever enough for them ?? Ive only been married a month and looked at my hubbys phone bill to find he was texting / talking and photo messaging some woman the night b4 the wedding!! We have only ever had 3 nights apart since meeting. Like u i dont wanna be a doormat, so benefit of the doubt will be called on this one, but it certainly aint a good start !!! If hes meant to be so happy and im the best thing thats ever happened to him, why the need to be doing this ??? Men out there, answers ona postcard lol
good god maypole your question could be mine . my partner i know has seen someone else and he wont admit it but we are tryiong to make a new start i know how you feel i am finding it just so hard

I think it might be.

As a singer, I can attest that there are many temptarions on the road.
