I don't know if he likes me or not!

I'm a very shy person, although you might not think it if you knew me.

Well i just started a new job, and the very first day.. i met this really lovely guy called Darren.
I can tell he's shy, i don't know how.. but i can tell.
Well.. i reallllyyyy like him. I've got this funny feeling in the pit of my stomach that he likes me too. I've got no proof to go on of course, other than the fact that most say people can usually tell when they're liked by someone.

We get on well, He's always willing to help me out at work.. We talk whenever we're working together.. But i just don't know. Neither of us are the flirting type, because as i said we're both really shy.. and i can't exactly ask him because of that.

So really, i want to know what other signs to look for to see if he may be interested in me.. (i don't mean any of the looking at you then looking away type of stuff either) And what i could do to see if he is..
