My fella is in south africa just now,and as its my birthday will get a card eventually, anyway i get these thoughts in my head that my fella will do something that will surprise me, and as the day passes it looks less likely,do others wish that there partners would do some out of ordinary, when you already know that they wont!!!!
I think most women expect there other halves to know what we want - when really, most men dont think about it that much. I think women do think about there relationships and everything that goes along with it whereas men dont seem to worry about it. Thats my experience anyway. I know my other half doesnt think much about our relationship and isnt the most romantic of men, but he does do things that I guess I take for granted. Like he cooks for me every night, he always tucks me in at night, he texts to make sure I get a taxi if im out for the night - little things but I know he cares. I do sometimes expect more but I reailse I cant expect someone to know what I want unless I tell them. =)
hi puddicat, i expected that for my 30s birthday, yeah. that time my bf was in cyprus, i expected a surprise too(even i know there is tiny hope for it). when he back home, he digged his luggage awhile, took a last minutes shopped digital camera, well very expensive one, but i still disappointed not a surprise, something romantic but a last minute shopping in airport, so i gave him lots grief that night lol
terambulan he is in south africa at the moment, so dont expect any surprises now, said that he had sent a card, which still is taking its times getting here, i call him "Ronseal", cos you get exactly what it says on the tin lol!!!
If he's got his mobile phone out there, why not surprise him by dressing up (seductively), taking a photo on your mobile and texting it to him. Just sending the message *it's my birthday and i can't wait till you get home*!
I'm sure he'll have a surprise for you too on his return.
