Do you think there are any circumstances under which the above is acceptable/excusable?

well when in doubt blame genetics/history/human nature

not everyone cheats though, maybe there is something wrong with the ones who dont cheat?
Thing i wondered about.

A guy and woman both married and cheating on their partners.
Meetin in hotels etc .This goes on for months even years maybe. Then they get together maybe even marry.

Now these are two seasoned cheaters.

Say one or both of them wanted to cheat at some stage on their new partner.

Do you 5think their previous training and cheating expertise would make it even harder for their new partner to spot?

Im thinking theyd be so good at lying etc that their new partner would struggle.

sooooo

do cheaters who get together make more honest partners?

or are they just smarter after all the sneaking about?
This thread is getting so boring that posters are trasferring to the "weeing in the bath" thread LOL LOL

Still no answer to my question...."why is infidelity so rife?"

I guess

You're saying that people in that situation should stay with people they don't love and be faithful to them for the sake of their children.

It's an opinion

Not one that I can share though
Jake i said nothing of the sort.

i do however think that folk shouldnt have children together unless they intend staying together.

did nthat help ?

trigg not true

in the beginning man and woman werent married etc etc over the centuries we have become monogamous .

and now it seems man and woman are reverting to their more animal urges.

hence as i said .
a decline or a return if you like .
There are no longer the religious restrictions or those of public opinion that existed several centuries ago.....those would have put a damper on any extramarital experiments. Also....in some cases people just did not live as long...so what life they had was precious.
