love - how do you know?

how do you know when your in love? a lot of people say you can just tell.
my boyfriend has been saying it to me for abour 3 months now, i said i wasnt ready so still not said anything. but now over the last couple of weeks ive really wanted to say it. when he says 'love you!' down the phone or when he is leaving in the morning i have to bite my toungue to try and not say it back. not becuase i dont want to but i guess im just very very nervous about saying it. ive never said that to anyone else before!
plus this is my first proper relationship.

im a complete baby so i was very nervous telling him last night that i backed out haha, but, and i know i may be judged here, i sent him a text a moment ago. but of course when i see him later ill tell him.
i think i needed a bit of egging on to do it really! i do want to but again, im a scaredy cat!

Just do it when you want to. I agree with ummmm and that whole can't sleep, can't eat (nothing stops me eating!) thing.... I've always managed to maintain control of my head since the heart is generally not a great judge of practicalities.

I don't think love can be defined particularly as it's subjective to an individual.

Oh.... And never underestimate the importance of the ability to make a good bacon roll... I find that a very important aspect of a relationship ;0)

How do you feel when they are not around? No matter where you are or what you are doing, if you start thinking about them, it's love. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder". However If it's a case of "Out of sight, out of mind" it's not love.
