What Can I Eat to Make Me Go???

Been going to Slimming World for a few months now and the weight loss is going well (2st so far), but for the last few weeks I find I am not going to the loo and weight loss has slowed down. Tummy is very bloated and I feel 'full' but I am not getting the urge! Any suggestions as to what I can eat to get things going again pse.......

Plenty of fibre and make sure you`re not getting dehydrated.

Some beetroot is good.
Drink prune juice. If no help, take Lactulose (check with your chemist you can) but drink plenty of water. Other than that, there's liquid sennakot but that is last resort I would think, try the prune juice first.
Have All Bran and a cup of hot water in the morning....that will make you go
Yes drink more water. Well done 2st is easy to put on but so hard to get rid of.

house mouse - figs and prunes are forbidden fruits I'm afraid
tamborine - baked beans just make me trump!
237SJ - I eat so much fruit and veg that I'm getting at least '10 a day'!!

Someone else recommended Allbran - I ate the required amount for a week and it did nothing for me!! Did try a laxative last week - never again!!! would rather be 'bunged up'!!!
You can try Fybogel sachets (ispaghula husks) which you can get at the chemist.
When you say 'loads of water', how much is loads. If you eat lots of fibre then you must drink at the very least 2 litres a day. If that's not working, then even more and also increase exercise. If laxatives are not an option (which I agree has to be a last resort anyway) then the answers so far are really your only option.

If it was going to be a laxative though, I would suggest Movicol instead of the type that just purge you.

Hope something works for you soon - it's a horrible feeling and starts to become the only thing you think about!
Linseed/flaxseed.....you can buy it whole or ground. It will help shift whatever is stuck..;-)
Add it to soups,shake over salads,put in sauces. I've never tried it-but I've heard good things. It's full of nutrients too.
Movicol is only available via prescription
I agree with Mamya - beetroot is a sure winner
euphemia.- sorry cross post. I agree that Fybogel would also be quite a good option.
I would agree with archeraddict that Movicol is efficient and it can be used in conjunction with Fybogel
Strawberries and plums usually work.
If you like Guinness, that often works, also eating liquorice can help.
