Have to say a special THANK YOU to xsticher for those yummy recipes last month and thanks to maggiebee for the humorous poem.

March is a tough month, it can be easy to be good in January and February after the excesses of Christmas but keeping going can be tough.

Do you have any particular motivation tips we can share?

Here is last months thread

I keep thinking about the Ed's question of motivation. One good motivator that I think is VERY important is all of you. Your support and finger pointing when needed is very helpful for keeping on track. Thanks to the faithful few and onwards and downwards...it seems we have all been very good this week, so let's keep up the good work.

Oh, oh, oh.........can I join in pretty, pretty please. I joined WWers but it got too expensive, though it is a very good club. But all we need really is motivation.....which Im sadly lacking in!

So if Im accepted as part of your losers club, I put on 2lbs last week....sigh. But I havent had anything stodgy today YAY!!
You are very welcome here Lillymoon. We weigh ourselves every Wed. and have been supporting each other for 2 years come this summer. It's always nice to have a new name and let me wish you luck for next week.
Thanks xstitcher, this is grreat.....
That's it, stick to the Frosties.
Welcome lilymoon as you see we all try to help one another with ideas. Tip for you write everything down each day that you eat so that you can work out a weekly shop. It is when you run out of things you are inclined to go for the wrong things. All the best for next week.
Just to add to Wendilla, make out a 5 day or weekly menu, whatever suits you, and do your shopping list from that. Stick the menu on the fridge. For some reason it is powerful and I very seldom vary from mine....can't really as I only have the food I need for the menu meals.
I've been very bad recently. I had a five course Italian meal at the weekend (In my defence. . it was a charity event, I shouldn't have eaten it all though) and in general have been having more sweets etc. Really struggling to think of any motivational tips.
Got to go wild occassionally or it'd all get rather tedious. Just got to pick the pace up again afterwards.
You are quite right OG. It would be very boring if we could never have our favourite things again. I do, and soon get back on track and thats what its all about, controlled eating.
I'm going out for lunch today at a place that excells in Danish open sandwhiches...shall I reserve a place on the naughty step!
well, xstitcher, Im hoping to get off this week so there should be room, but lets hope you wont need it. Have a nice lunch
O-G and THEOTHERHALF AND NOTAFISH that is right it would be boring if we did not have a blip now and again but the important thing is knowing how to rectify it. Good luck all for tomorrow and hope the naughty step is empty. .
No lunch.....in bed with cold and sore throat....should be good for the weigh in tomorrow
"Lucky" you ;-)

I'm the same as I was last Tuesday. :-( Desperate to lose at least ⅜lbs overnight, before the offical weekly weighing, as I did last week, to avoid a gain.
Thanks all, you've made me feel a lot less guilty. :-) Good luck for Wednesday Weigh-in.
Good Morning, Down one pound so that is okay....onwards and downwards...
Same as you Xstitcher well done. 1lb loss this week. I did expect a little more but not complaining as that is now 6lbs in 3 weeks. I am aiming for 10lbs for end of month so if I can lose 2lbs the next 2 weeks I can do it .
Down ⅞lbs. Not sure how. I think the excesses of the weekend must get shaken off the night of Tuesday/Wednesday somehow.
That's why we think Wed. is such a good day for weigh ins...
Good morning everyone!
After my weigh in.........Ive lost 3lbs!! Great stuff, and to be honest I wasn't that good. It does make me think I was actually eating before. I get bored and nibble, specially at night.
Im a knitter so I have no excuse not to keep busy. I did some embroidery last night.....oh my poor eyes afterwards. That needs to be a daylight hobby methinks.
If it wasn't for my dog I wouldn't get as much excersise......Im a naturally very lazy bod and need to push myself.
Inspiration is going to come from you guys, so be harsh and critical it might help.

Talk a bit later xx
