Have to say a special THANK YOU to xsticher for those yummy recipes last month and thanks to maggiebee for the humorous poem.

March is a tough month, it can be easy to be good in January and February after the excesses of Christmas but keeping going can be tough.

Do you have any particular motivation tips we can share?

I keep thinking about the Ed's question of motivation. One good motivator that I think is VERY important is all of you. Your support and finger pointing when needed is very helpful for keeping on track. Thanks to the faithful few and onwards and downwards...it seems we have all been very good this week, so let's keep up the good work.

Well done Xstitcher .I am dancing to day 3lb loss. I felt I had lost again but only because I have shut the devil out . I have gone by my motto.( If I don't buy it I can't eat it.And cut out the fat and the crap). It is getting easier now the weather is warming up slightly.
Yay, well done X.

Myself, well ignoring the post shower weighing (I still don't know how I soak up so much water) I'm down 2¼ lbs on the week. (But up ⅛ lbs on the month.) But I feel I must have turned a corner and I'm making it back down again gradually.

To be honest I've had a few high calorie/fat things recently so it is probably better than I could have expected. Maybe that's the answer. If you're good you go up, if you have a few 'treats' you go down :-)

How right you are xstitcher. Do you realise it is nearly 2 years since you first started this post and if it was not for that when I replied to you I don't think I would have maintained and lost weight. Yes I have gained at times but to come on here and confess makes it all the more worthwhile to get back on track and we have got to know the regulars .Some we lose some we gain but at some point some come back which proves they can get back on track again by joining us again.
Onward and Downwards everyone.
Well done everyone who has had a good week which seems to be most of you. I stayed the same so not too disappointed and am determined to get to the 4st 7lb next week so need to lose at least 2lb. Will have to be very good this week so think I will be soup making. Good luck all for next week and hope the losses continue.
Staying the same now and then is okay Jan...good luck with your soup. Can you tell us what type or types you make and how much at a time?

Oh dear, not a happy bunny. Put on 2 lbs in 2 weeks. I suppose thats not too bad as I do have my birthday as an excuse. Now I really DO have to knuckle down. No excuses !!!

I haven't been on ithe naughty step for 2 weeks 3lbs loss this week and 2lbs the week before .I am aiming for 10lbs before the end of the month.
Oh you braggart you......no really that is great Wendilla. Well done. I hope those clothes your ordered will soon fit perfectly.
Not tried them yet will leave that for another 2 weeks and have a manniquin parade lol.
