Oh Wendilla !!!! If I had a breadmaker I would do the same but am sure that I wouldn't stop at toast. Why don't you slice what is left and freeze it in portions . That way you can't get at it so easily. Every time now I am tempted my code word to myself is turkey, turkey, turkey....meaning Christmas goodies that I want to be able to enjoy....so no sinning now....Let's see if that works...
Aw Wendilla. It's so easy to do that, we've all done it at some point. As long as you weren't tempted to eat the whole loaf! I'd love to have a breadmaker but I couldn't trust myself with it. As xsticher says, you could freeze the rest and just take out what you need, rather than want. I have to do that with chocolate, but I find that I often can't be bothered to defrost it, so it helps.
Another good tip x-sticher, with the code word. :)

Its this autumnal change that has us all reaching for the goodies. I'm doing my best to resist pumpkin pie (but will have given in before the weekend's out!) and in fact anything thats oven baked and fills the house with fantastic autumn cooking.
I might have a baked apple this evening, if I pop a few sultanas in it and resist the custard will I be on the right track?

It's baked in the oven, Wendilla but very simple. In a bowl mix together 110g plain flour, 110g coarse wholemeal flour, 1 rounded teasp mustard, 1 heaped teasp baking powder, 80g grated mature cheddar, 110g finely chopped grilled bacon and half a small onion, finely diced. Add 1 beaten egg and 150ml milk. Mix well together. Put in 1lb loaf tin, sprinkle some brown linseed or sunflower seeds on top and bake at 200C for about 35-40 mins.(mixture will be quite wet and sticky)Sit back and enjoy. Well at least the wholemeal flour and the seeds are healthy!! :)
The apple was delicious. We're overwhelmed with apples this year and luckily they're a sweet variety so it didn't need any sugar. I popped the sultanas in the middle and baked in a little water. I forgot the cinnamon xstitcher, but I will remember it next time. OH had some single cream with his so I had just one tablespoonful with mine.

Stay with us annemollie and we will give you what help we can. Try and stick to the healthy eating routine that you probably had when your leader was there and weigh yourself on the day you also would if he/she was there. Most of us doing our weighing on Wed. unless we go to something like you have.
Well done losers this week. I did pop in Weds but for some reason couldn't post but I stayed the same this week. I was quite pleased with that after spending Monday night in A&E before finding out I had kidney stones! Am trying to avoid all the things they have told me to, some of which are quite healthy, but may not do too well next week. Been in so much pain it has put me off eating at all which is not always a good thing. Oh well, can but try.
