Just thought I'd drop in to let you all know the op went well and I was very surprised when the hospital let me go home after two days so was home friday afternoon! Have suffered a bit since with the pain which got worse and by this morning was really struggling as the plaster had started to rub the back of my leg. Ended up in A&E this afternoon and had to have a large...

That is so but the daily weighings have been weird for the last few weeks. There's been many days when it has been higher. I feel I ought to be at least 5 lbs lower than I presently am. But in fairness the loss has proved very slow ever since I started in earnest so maybe it's keeping to its usual behaviour, longer term.

Sorry to hear you've slipped back up a bit. Still, a few weeks left before the Xmas goodies tempt you away from the straight & narrow eh ? Time to make up.
Stayed the same this week and am quite surprised as I had some Ferrero Rocher given to me and also some Roses. Christmas has started early here! Will try really hard to lose a couple of lbs before Christmas so that I won't feel too guilty when I eat some treats over the holidays.
Great to hear you are home again, Jan. Hope it's not too long until you are100% again.
Hope you're well, Jan. Try to take it easy.
I've lost 1.5lb this week. I'd love to lose 3.5 more before Christmas, which would make a total of 21lb since starting properly just before my holiday in October. I'm going to try really hard anyway. Good luck everyone for next week. :)
That is such a good overall result Kacee. Well done you!!
Thanks xstitcher. I can't tell you how much better I feel, goodness knows what a difference Jan's weight loss has made to her; she inspires me so much. Still a fair way to go, but here I go, onwards and (hopefully) downwards. :)
Lost another pound this week. I'm delighted, especially as I have eaten 6 mince pies, a tub of Haagen Dazs ice cream, a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, a full Dr Oetker pizza and drunk a few cans of Budweiser, although not on the same day obviously lol.
God Lord LyndaB, Just thinking of what you have eaten has certainly put a pound on me. Did you run a marathon after all this or what?

Well done Kacee.
LyndaB I dread to think what I would have gained if I had eaten all that . I just have to look at a cream cake and it attaches itself to me. Just be very careful in case it catches up with you for next weeks weigh in. Great if you get away with it .
Congratulations LyndaB and thanks. I was just sitting feeling really bad because I had eaten several Roses sweets last night and a couple of buns yesterday and am going out for a meal tonight but don't feel quite so bad now. I will try to be really good after the weekend as don't want to undo all my hard work! Congrats to everyone who has lost.
As I said, I didn't eat them all at once! I ate the mince pies over a few days (although the pizza and the beer all went down last Saturday night and jolly good it was too), the Christmas dinner was eaten at work an that's all I had all day so stayed within touching distance of my limit for the day, and the Haagen Dazs is in special offer at work so can't possibly be fattening ;-)

Tonight's treat is barbecued ribs - and they would put
Fred Flinstone's to shame, the size of them!
Morning all and big HELLO to Jan, how you doing?

Despite have a couple of naughty Yorkshire puds at the weekend, I've lost 1lb this week, happy with that.

I'm resisting any pre-Christmas goodies and haven't given in to a mince pie yet. Satsumas rock! How you all doing?
Morning All,

Back on track with a 2 lb loss today so am full of good cheer. Ate lots of fish the last week....only meat once.

I hope you are all keeping warm. Our job here is not to fall on the ice.
Congrats Maidup. I'm in a similar situation. Not sure how but the scales show a loss of 2? lbs over the last 7 days. I'm amazed by it. Just dropped over the last couple of days for whatever reason. Since the work's Xmas events are imminent maybe I'll need that buffer.
Darn ! >:-( That showed * 2⅜ lbs * before I got cold feet and copied and pasted into my text editor to check the spelling. (For whatever reason it doesn't should the full font. Why do we still not have an edit post facility ?)
"For whatever reason it doesn't SHOW the ...."

Why does technology take a delight is changing everything I do just to embarrass ?
Christmas gremlins OG...........
mine's like OG's, down a lb one day, up 2 the next.... :-( I still want to lose 3 more lbs before Christmas, but I don't think I will (Cadbury's Oreo may have something to do with it....)
After staying the same for a couple of weeks pleased with 1lb loss. Just been careful and not over indulging. Well Done Maidup I must admiit I had a couple of mincepies last week but my son came over and he had the rest so wasnt tempted. Not bought anymore yet.
Xstitcher well done and well done OG .
Lets hope no one has to dust the naughty step this week.
Boxtops it's the devil that keeps tempting us with these things. I seem to stay the same for ages before I lose but I must get down to it in earnest after the new year. As long as I don't gain in the meantime I will be ok with that.
Hadn't noticed you'd sneaked a post in before mine xstitcher. Congrats to all.

(Been checking my text editor on the Net. Apparently it is a known fault it doesn't fully support the Unicode font character set. They've had loads of revisions, should've sorted it by now. Ho hum.....)
