Onwards and Downwards Continues in May 2013
Hello all,
Well, it looks like spring has finally arrived. I hope some of you are able to get out and about more. It is a well known fact that more exercise is a great way to help shed those pounds.
What is your favourite way of getting some fresh air?
We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.
Don't forget your weekly weigh on Wednesday and remember we don't judge!

Keep forgetting to post on here! Ive lost 16 lb in 10 weeks now so I'm pretty happy with that x

I think it'd need to go to the gut wouldn't it ? It's an attempt to dictate what bacteria is thriving in the gut which then affects the lining and thus how much absorption one has. So a time release (or stomach acid release) capsule maybe ?
Once one is naturally absorbing less, the food we eat has less affect on us. Therefore it's a bit like restricting input more and permanently. If it works in humans too of course, which I suspect it should,

I'm right between clothes sizes at the moment so bought summer trousers which are in fact a little tight but the the next size up were too big. Its helped motivate me to the next goal as my winter clothes are both too hot and too big, so come the nice weather (mmmm I know!) i will need to fit into these new ones.

Well done Maydup that is certainly the feeling that we want to achieve I can tell you are ecstatic I am down 1lb after a stay the same and a 2lb from the week before .But on the right track. I did indulge a little on Sunday at the carvery but being good the rest of the days helped so I deserved my treat.
YESSSS!!!!! Im just under the 13 stone, despite gaining 3lb last week, Im really chuffed!! I think the next trip to Wales in the next few days will have to be a "no treat" trip :-(
Im still expecting the scales to fluctuate and take me over again tomorrow but I know I'm winning and it will just drive me on.
I do feel a bit guilty to be honest, I appear to be able to lose weight fairly easier than any, I dont think it is necessarily my determination, I think it is more down to how our bodies process fat and shed it etc.

Well done losers and sorry was not around last week. Have not been too well and had a bad week last week gaining 4lb! Pleased to say though that this week I have lost 5.5lb, making a total lost now of 8st 10.5lb. Getting closer to the 10st I wanted to lose when I started but been very up and down lately so must try harder.
