"this is 7 to 11 percent of your recommended saturated fat for the day"
Yeah eggs are nice but should be enjoyed in moderation.
lo xstitcher "off with my head." its an extreme way to lose weight but would certainly work with an instant result.
Second time I've been ill this year already. I'm more worried about getting a reputation for being out sick from work. Past years being off wasn't heard of from me (well hardly).

Still every pound helps I suppose. Even if I have been pounds lower than my present weight, this year.
OG, sorry to hear you aren't well but 1lb is 1lb! just try to keep it off when you are feeling better.
OG, im the same about having time off, I recently had a week off with a bad back, I usually average about 1 or 2 days off sick a year. many of the people I work with have more than a day off sick every month, amazingly it always seems to be a Saturday or a Sunday, funny that, I call it the weekend bug!
Wow well done Smow and you're doing it the right way. You must really feel elated.
Oh dear, I am back on the naughty step this week. Had a bad fall friday evening in which I knocked myself out and ended up in hospital overnight with 5 stitches in my head. Very sore all over so feeling sorry for myself and hit the chocolate, resulting in a gain of 5lb! Oh well, stitches out tomorrow and back on the diet again, even if I am still sore.
Ouch Jan. You really have been through the wars and I think you deserved that chocolate. I hope that you are feeling better soon.
Hope you feel better soon JAN. Now you have devoured the chocs I know you will get back on track.
I did weigh yesterday, but didn't have time to post that I had stayed the same.

Slight relief since I'd been away for a few days and eaten out all week. Thinking of you all with illness, worries and cuts and bruises. Get well soon you lovely people.

With regards to yoghurt try the 0% fat free greek style yoghurt. Its a bit more expensive but worth every penny. "Total"is a good one for example.
I really dont like fat free yoghurt :-) I prefer my homemade full fat yoghurt, its low in calories considering I only have 100 grams at a time. :-)
I use the Total all the time. I say to myself that I'm lucky that they make it so I can at least have some yogurt. Quite often I use it as a substitute for mayo....in my tuna salad for example.
I know you don't Ratter, but I though it worth pointing out for those who are reading this and struggling to eat the cheap sour low fat stuff, that there is a good quality smoother option.

The reason I stick to my full fat is that it is actually very filling, which stops me wanting foods that are more calorific, I got this info from a diet site a long time ago, it really seems to work, well it does for me.

Saying that, my weight is up again today, I'm back up to 13 stone+

I think my diet is going to pot a little bit, getting a bit stressed over the move to Wales in a few weeks, busy packing, organising and researching etc. so eating bad things out of convenience.
Well I never really joined your wee club - but had to go to doctor's last week and he (my own real doctor) has not seen me for quite some time so said oh I think you have put on weight but I knew - since he seen me I have actually lost 2 stone - don't think he could remember what I looked like. So I have jumped from the 14 stone mark to the 12 mark - I really have stopped trying to diet - just haven't been too well so eat when I am hungry etc.
Well done.

Not being well seems to work. Even when well enough to check what one's intake was when too ill to bother checking, and finding it wasn't as low as thought. I wonder if the body burns more energy when trying to fight something off. The scales suggest I've had a large drop today, not sure whether to believe them.
Ah come on OG give yourself a treat and believe your scales.....my sympathies with your move Ratter. It's not much fun is it! On the actual moving day you may burn off a lot of calories which will help. I wish you luck getting back to where you want to be.
xstitcher, thanks, I think that from the day of the move it will all be a little busy. developing and running a smallholding on the side of a Welsh mountain and setting up a business will get me in shape I think.
Well there you are then. Lots of luck with everything....
I dropped two stone on the passing of my husband in February - so if you have any weight to spare could you please throw it my way. Good luck on you move to Wales and a new business venture.
