Hello all,

Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Not sure if we have done fish already but it is worth taking another look. Thanks xstitcher :-).

Forgot to say I am still the same that is why I dare not eat that goodies .

Good news Marijn, half a pound is one more step in the right direction.

This week is now non cappuccino week for me, from now on! I needed to write that down to stop myself from buying them either at work or in my lunch hour. An Americano with a dash of skimmed milk is just as good.
Here is a recipe for good conscience cappuccino that you can make at home
You use the normal dosage of instant coffee. Fill the rest of the cup 3/4 up with lo fat hot milk. Give it a good whip with a single arm milk foamer. Top it up with hot water. You can foam a bit of the milk and sprinkler with cinnamon and/or vanilla.(mini milk with a fat pro cent of 0.05% works really well)
This will never taste like your store bought cappuccino but it is good. I have it with 2 diabetic chocolate biscuits for my 11's.

Tuna Sandwich Fill
1 can tuna in water
1 Tablespoon kapers
1 small onion
100 grams fromage frais
1 teaspoon lemon juice
salt pepper

Mush up the tuna and add the rest.
Crispy salad with chicken

2-3 califlower bouquets
2-3 broccoli bouquets
2 small tomatoes or 6 to 7 cherry tom.
½ pepper fruit
150 grams cooked or fried chicken breast

Dressing:

½ tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon chopped parsley or dill
salt pepper

Pour boiling water over the broccoli and califlower and let them absorb it for about 5 min then cool them.
Cut the tom. and pepperfruit in smaller pieces and mix with the rest.
Serve with a brown bread.
That tuna looks nice :-)

Yes OG 1 tin of tuna. Im going to add some finely chopped celery the next time I make it.
I am down just a tiny smidgen this week but enough to put me into the next descending number on the scales which is lovely to see. All the best to the rest of you.
Well done Xstitcher .I have lost 1lb . Have been half good could have done better .I think most of it is due to the hot spell of weather not eating so much.

No change for me, I'm a bit stuck despite a diet of mainly salad and vegetables. I aim for small protein and small carb portions, low fat and low sugar. I'll keep going, onwards and downwards!
That's the spirit Maydup . I get stuck for a few weeks at times but I still glory on . lol
Your food sound perfect Maydup. Keep this up and with some walking or some sort of motion if you can and you are going to swoop down. I have found that by using small plates and small bowls it looks like you are eating more and has really helped me with cutting down on the portions. I wish I knew how to send a picture.

Ah that's good. I was wondering if I had the wrong size and had got chow intended for a boarding cattery. It clearly shows cat ering on the label.

Anyway, I've been refusing to note weight of late, ever since a sudden inexplicable jump of a few pounds which I wasn't going to accept was for real. And which have been stubbornly refusing to admit is a joke for ages now. But a large claimed drop over the last 24 hours now shows I'm back to where I was mid June, so if it doesn't go straight back up again, I'm going to start noting again from here.

Looks like no one has gone up this week, so far. Good on us.
