Hello all,
Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.
Not sure if we have done fish already but it is worth taking another look. Thanks xstitcher :-).

Mouthful, lungsful and eyesful of water; struggling from one end/side to another only to wonder why you bothered and opting to struggle back again. Then just when you think it is bad enough already you learn that you are the only one in the world that used to get out and go to the toilet when you needed a pee, the rest of the dirty $%%^%&s apparently just go in the water that you are now swallowing ! Yes I could not believe anyone could be like that either when I first was told about it.
Stay safe, stay dry, keep on the towel on the sun-lounger instead.

Good morning all.
Down just a bit under 1/2 pound...one pound away from my first goal. This is getting exciting.
Now off to do some menu planning I think. Did you know that if you pour boiling water over small bouquets of broccoli and califlower and let them stand for 5 min. they are perfect for a crunchy salad.
I hope we will hear good news from you all today and if the news isn't good then please let us hear from you anyway.

Afternoon all,
congrats to those who are downwards and a positive pep talk to those still steady :-)
Just noticed that it is the first of the month on Monday, I know I say this every month but where does the time go? :-)
Anyway the fish recipes seemed to go down well and thanks to xstitcher for her ever helpful contributions and recipes.
Was thinking about diabetic recipes for next month as xstitcher is swearing by them now. Any other suggestions welcome.
see you all Monday xxx

Hmm... a more reasonable reading today. Despite eating more than I should yesterday evening (should have kept an eye on it as I went not later) it seems over the last 7 days (inc BH and a day's annual leave) the damage has only been +⅝ lbs. Not good, but could have been worse after those pub meals. Must pull my socks up though between now and next Wednesday.
