Morning everyone!

I've given up on losing weight, and have just got back in to running or riding the bike every day - for as long as that lasts! No, really, I've given up on worrying about my weight, and focusing instead on staying fit throughout autumn and winter!

Am I being foolish?

This book however, might make you get up and run. It did for me. Plenty of times when I was reading it, I would put down the book and go for a run.

It covers ultra runners, strange mythical tribesmen who run for days (for fun), barefoot running, the evolutionary advantage of running, and really gets to the heart of the joy of it. I can't recommend it enough.

Ha! I've recently been trying to learn a reading for a wedding, and I've found that running out into the countryside and shouting it to myself is a really good way of memorising it.
Just remember to tone down when you're giving the reading. :- ))
I hang my head in shame . got the cap on and in the corner . I completely forgot .So I am working healthily for a good result next week .
Ah I figured the thread was lighter than usual this week. ;-)
Lol OG scales will go the other way next week .
I love my ice cream in the summer but my will power isn't so good but I've found away around it. I buy the sugar free ice cream ( and NO it doesn't have a lot of unhealthy additives) and I buy the waffle cones. The cones limit how much I can use but I still get my kick and the scales haven't minded it.

9 days away and up 2.4 lbs.
Maybe it'll have faded away by tomorrow.
If you have the heat we have OG it stands a good chance of melting away!
Coincidentally I have just come in from the garden because it was too hot. I saw earlier we still had some summer left so opted to "take the afternoon off" and sit under the parasol with a few magazines and a glass of cold 'no added sugar' squash. But I must be getting too old to cope. Only half way through the first magazine and I figured that I'm sweltering. Maybe if I swopped the jeans for shorts, and took off the shirt ? Back inside now though, to cool off.

I managed to get another typo in my post yesterday. Worse than it states; I'd gone up 2.8 lbs

Meanwhile I've melted away 0.8 lbs in the last 24 hours. Still up 2 lbs since the 3rd though.
I did weigh this morning but was distracted and forgot to post . I have gone down 1lb .well,done me it's a change from staying the same .
