A woman I know will be sixty six next year. She has paid hardly any national insurance stamps. Worked abroad etc. Will she be entitled to pension credits, or any money whatsoever?

she may be entitled to a pension from the countries where she has worked abroad, particularly if it has been in Europe - there is some variation between the countries but the general rule is 65 - and they are more generous than here.
they'll also pay anything that has been backdated - usually around 6 months to a year after the application is accepted.
So what about all the illigal immigrants entering this country right now? What benefits are they entitled to? Or will be granted to them? They aint worked here for 10 years or more have they?

you perhaps need to define what you mean by illegal immigrants.
Do you mean immigrants that sneak into the country and work on the black market and never register? They are the true illegal immigrant and because of them not being registered they cannot claim anything.
Or
Do you mean the 'boat people' who come to the shores and then claim asylum thus making themselves legal?
There is a difference.
As this is not appropriate for CB, I have suggested moving it to Personal Finance.

As this about a specific scenario, discussion about benefit entitlements for "illegal immigrants" might be better being discussed in its own thread.
