A woman I know will be sixty six next year. She has paid hardly any national insurance stamps. Worked abroad etc. Will she be entitled to pension credits, or any money whatsoever?

No she won't get a pension but she'll probably get a load of free dosh by another name.

But what name 3Ts?
well in the old days it was called social security but there will be a modern day equivalent.
What country does she live in? In England women don't get a pension until they are 66
If she's got savings to won't be entitled to many benefits unless she is of pension age or disabled/sick.

Thank you for the response. I will inform her about the answers.
I made it about £55 a week. Better than nothing, but won’t cover her council tax. She is claiming no benefits whatsoever, and works part time for the community’s benefit.
She can work full time, she won't be entitled to any pension for at least six years
I stand to be corrected if I am wrong but I think that to claim state pension you need to have paid a minimum of 10 years National Insurance contributions.

That would give you a small pension and if you have limited savings you can then go on to claim Pension Credit. PC boosts your income to a living wage (allegedly). It also opens up the path for further benefits.
Oops, my phone screen blocked at the right side of the screen. I missed out the six of sixty six.
Apologies.
She can get a pension forecast from the government website
My wife had 6 years of National Insurance contributions and so I paid another 4 years of Voluntary contributions so that she had the minimum 10 years required. She now gets about 58 pounds per week, but because we now live abroad, she is not entitled to any other benefits.

If we returned to the UK I believe she would be entitled to Pension Credit but as that is unlikely to happen, I haven't really looked into it!
I worked for 10 years and get £238 a month pension

Thanks all.
The pension credit would be dependent on your income and her savings, JJ. It's not automatic
did she pay anything towards her pension in the other countries, she may have some entitlement from them.
IIRC, the savings allowed for pension credit is a fairly generous amount.
14.47 Still the arrogant no nothing you have always been TTT.
17.18 Spot on !
For pension credit for a couple the total household income must be less than £306.85 a week and savings must be £10000 or less.
Every £500 in savings between you over £10k counts as £1 income a week
I'm fully paid up on NI contributions and my forecast is £805 per month, due early next year.
