Trying to complete a 100 part quiz sheet for charity. Prize is £20.
Example: 1913 C made capital of A = Canberra made capital of Australia
Stuck on these ones:
1918 - L leads the A into D
1919 - P elects NA
1921 - MS introduces BC
1924 - M and I lost on EE
1940 - Rationing of F, C and P
1941 - RP introduces DID
1944 - ET tragedy at S
1946 - First LFA by AC
1949 - The LD is declared a NP
1950 - S markets the first PTR
1961 - EH orders the building of the BW (think this must by a typo and should read EG)
1984 - MS led by AS
1986 - DT is enthroned A of C
1990 - Remains of the ruling R discovered in SF
1991 - C of the SU
If there's one typo, there may be more. Any help appreciated.
1961: EH should read EG. Erich Honecker was President of German Democratic Republic from 1971 to 1989, so it can't have been him who ordered the building of the Wall. The clue probably means that it was 'East Germany' that ordered the building of the Berlin Wall.
