1. I had my first decent nights sleep last night
2. I am now only in discomfort instead of pain
3. Watching Blue Tits in the garden made me smile
4. Youngest Junior Overall gave me a particularly loving hug and kiss before leaving for school.
It is true that the small things in life make such a difference
no, suggests that your initial response to Mrs O, who is obviously having a bit of a bad time, was rather negative.
She needs cheering up, and don't we all from time to time.
I know how she feels, and getting a good nights sleep is a definite
bonus, because those who don't, often feel frazzled and out of sorts.
Playground fights.... oh well leave them to it... BTW check your tits mrs O they might have some friends with them this time of year.... and tell mr O to be careful with his nuts the birds prefer sunflower hearts to dangleberries
And its so important this time of year I miss my garden as we are not allowed to feed birds from out balconies Might go and hang some balls in the park
and you can add not having scurvy because you're eating again to your list x
I left you a message on your fao tony av thread, don't know if you saw it. I like the story about john paul jones that says he flew a huge silk stars and stripes made from his various mistresses lingerie.
I have a truly wonderful lady (Carakeel) that I will marry later this year.
we dont have an excess of money but we get by.
I have 3 lovely kids and I am so glad that 2 of them live very near me, Im also happy that my eldest Son is having a fantastic time living in New Zealand.
I have an amazing and fulfilling job.
I enjoy good health.
Ok, so these arent really the small things, these are:
I love the peace and quiet of night and the sound of the birds in the morning, the welcome I get from my dogs when I return home every day from work. The frantic welcome of the chickens when I arrive at their run. Seeing our chickens looking so good especially the rescue hens that looked so bald when we got them, the fact that we can produce our own eggs for breakfast and even sell a few and give some away.
The little gifts my good lady regularly buy for me, I love it.
Life is so good, long may it continue and I see further improvements to our lives on the horizon. :-)
