Any eBay sellers?

Are there any people on here that sell stuff on eBay and use a PayPal account that has no fees - ie can only accept payments from other PayPal accounts (no direct credit card payments, etc.)? Do you sell internationally? How does it work out for you?

PayPal fees are driving me mad and I'm wondering if I even need to accept direct credit/debit card payments.

Many thanks

I sell on e-bay using paypal and I do ask for international payments to be made using pay pal only, so much easier than foreign cheques. I usually try to add what I think will be paypal and e-bay fees onto my postage and packing so I don't lose out.

I use PayPal and for the added security of actually getting your money I don't mind paying the extra charge. However, if you bump up your postage costs, then you get buyers complaining your postage is too high! I try to keep it reasonable. But ebay also takes a share of what you sell too! Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it!

Thanks for your replies. Looks like I will just have to put up with the dreaded PayPal fees, especially as I do often sell to international bidders.

I've sold internationally on eBay & what I did was - add 1 to the international p&p (which is VERY clearly stated !) & say "deduct 1 if using balance funded PayPal" (which you can accept to a Personal PayPal account, ie. no fees).
