What Do I Do?

I'm really struggling financially and don't get paid till next Friday. How do I get money?

Some families have to survive on that sort of money for a week.  

May I ask, do you return your clothes after wearing them.  How can you afford wardrobe s full of clothes?  

Something seems very odd here.  Are you being honest with us Abbie?  Is Mum spoiling you.

also, i dont know what you think will be different in 2 weeks time - you are not gping to magically get a well-paying job, get to the first pay day, pay your debts in the next 10 days are you?

Simply put 

You cannot afford to go for brunch - tell you friend now so she can cancel you place and not lose any money

You cannot afford to have driving lessons - tell your instructor now.

You cannot afford new cloths, nails or nights out - so don't do them.

This does NOT mean that should someone offer to pay for your night out that you accept it - have some decorum.

Don't lie to your friend, tell her you cannot afford to go so she must cancel your place.  Don't give any other excuse or she may book another one.  If she walked out of her job how can she afford it or is she expecting you to pay for her as well?  Is this the friend who wants you to pay for the taxis to hers and into town?

No this friend was when she was younger years ago her mum asked why hasn't she got money

Then she knows what the situation is when you have no money - and you cannot spend even at the weekend until you get a better job.

Abbey, if you're going into your overdraft (as I think you mentioned earlier), you should really be spending as little as possible - and if you have debt on your credit card, aim to get that cleared too.

Of course she is upset - she may have lent it but thought she was going to get it back without having to ask for it!

Abbey, maybe being upset - and realising how upset your mum is too - is the wake-up call you needed? You've spent an awful lot of time just drifting. You're still young enough to turn things around (and also old enough to know when you've got things wrong!).

This is a wake up and I thought care home was perfect but also woke up to I was wrong about that
