What Do I Do?
I'm really struggling financially and don't get paid till next Friday. How do I get money?

They used to because they had to. the cleaning job and care home should have too. I can't believe you've been there maybe 6 months getting paid weekly and still don't have a payslip. It's probably online. You've been complaining about being underpaid for months but done nothing about it despite all our advice. You won't ignore it again will you?
Abbey, surely the Agency you work for/employer would be foolish enough not to issue you with a payslip?
By law (Employment Rights Act 1996), employers must give all their employees and workers payslips from their first payday. Workers can include people on zero-hours contracts and agency workers. Agency workers get their payslips from their agency. People who are self-employed do not get payslips.
Any other person seeing such a huge reduction in their salary would be on the phone to HR or speaking to their manager asking what is going on.
I cannot believe that this has been going on for 6 months plus and she has not done anything.
The helpline I believe is open until 8pm at night and opens at 8am in the morning and may be open on a saturday until 4 (it was when I worked for HMRC)
So there is really no excuse not to sort this out.
Bednobs- it's part time in the sense of being Monday to wednesday but it's a full day on those days. Abbey did have time to post dozens of times on AB while working yesterday but may say they were done on short bursts rather than for 45 minutes continuously. But im not sure why she doesn’t leave the phone on loud speaker while in hmrc queue and get on with laundry work while she waits.
I assume you're posting on AB from work again Abbey. Does that mean it's a quiet day? Did you get chance to chase up your manager and HR about your payslips. If you have spare time to post at work maybe you could ask if there are any extra duties you could do- it might impress them eneough to offer extra hours or increase your pay? Do you have periodic performance review meetings to agree objectives, targets and development needs?
