I am having my home valued next week, and the estate agent has dropped in the door an information pack, including a Property Fact Find. They want me to fill this out before they do the valuation .. the questions include: are there any planning applications in the vicinity; is the property covered by an NHBC warranty; which fixtures and fittings do you intend to remove; and best of all: Please supply details of your legal representative !! Do I really have to fill this form in, just for a valuation? I thought these questions had to be answered when I had sold the property !!

They just want you to there job for them leave out any information you do not want to give you don't need to tell them but it may help with the valuation of the house.
have you spoken to a different estate agent in your area to see if its standard practice?

we recently had our home valued and we were NOT asked to fill this information pack in?

PS......there was a difference of 25,000 between 2 estate agents, so it pays to shop around!!
