Does he have something he can sell. Most 13 year olds have a load of stuff they don't need any more so it could be worth looking there

If he's 13 he is allowed to work. He can work a max of 12 hours per week of which a max of 2 hours on schooldays & Sundays and a max of 5 hours on Saturdays. Lots of shops take on temp staff in the run up to Xmas.
He could have a good rummage through his clothes/old toys/CD's/DVD's/PC games and sell them on Ebay.
