Sir A - They are always loved and never forgotten are they? My lovely old dog died in 1971 aged nearly 19 but still we talk about him often in the family ........
DSJ, if your grandson is being bullied, then he or his parents needs to talk to his form tutor and get the school to act on it. If the abuse is out of school, e.g. online, consider other resources such as:
get yourself a pair of brogues with steel toe caps, a good Barathea Blazer and some well pressed black trousers - and then kick the sh*t out of the bar stewards !
I wasn't defending you Mike. I know you don't need it. I was just questioning the unwritten rules here where you telling someone to get a grip is like being the devil incarnate but someone else can call you the C word and that's ok?
"get yourself a pair of brogues with steel toe caps, a good Barathea Blazer and some well pressed black trousers - and then kick the sh*t out of the bar stewards !" Now you're talking my language. Did you go to the same school as me?
Then maybe you would like to insult me too.
You don't own this site NOX and if one person is obliged to follow the rules then we all are.
You behaved much worse than Mike on this thread. I don't particularly care what you think about that fact.
Hi Mike ! I might have been wearing Doc Martins and a Dog Tooth jacket
(donated by my granddad) but the main thing is - we kicked the sh*t out of 'em - that's the only way to avoid the bully boys !
I was teased at school. About my freckles, being skinny, had my hair pulled, Deliberately excluded at break time , comments like Brinjal wants to be our friend but we don't want to be friends with her. Nobody likes her. So I would sit by myself and read. Apart from a bit of hair pulling and being pinched not actual harm but it does affect they I react to people today. I find it difficult to be in situatatio s where I don't know anyone. I do keep my own company a lot and people now find me unfriendly and snobby. But it's a defense against being rejected.
I was bullied so badly at school, my Nan brought me up and we had little money, so, God bless her, when the bed sheets were threadbare, she would make me pairs of pants our of them. Not so funny when they were the flannelette ones and the other kids saw them during change time for p.e, albeit nice and warm in the winter!
I had no boobs (still don't) so I never needed a bra, so was bullied about those too. School, for me, was a bloody awful experience.
