82 Year Old Mother Of The Bride!!

Please help me with what to wear for my 55 year old daughter's second white wedding, I have bought a pale pink jacket and a pink flowered skirt and it looks so wrong I feel sick. I am quite happy to buy another outfit but I have been on all the web sites and cannot see anything suitable at all, and please don't tell me to ask for a personal shopper in store because I would be too embarrassed. I am 5'2 pear shaped and short waisted.

Can I suggest that you reconsider the Personal Shopper option, please?
Like you, I was very wary of trying, but I have used this service twice now and on both occasions the personal shoppers were just a delight to be with.
They were not in the least pushy or snooty and found loads of clothes for me to try, lots of which I would never have considered. I did buy stuff, but was under no obligation and did not feel pressured at all.
Both of them were so helpful and positive that I really enjoyed the experiences.
It was just so pleasant to be in a private room having someone do all the fetching and carrying of clothes.
You can even take a friend or your daughter with you.

If you are concerned why not go for an empire line dress with the short jacket it would elongate your body xx
