Mums, Dads, & Grandparents.........
Your opinions please.
I have been having a friendly banter with my daughter 40yrs (modern mum) who has been a Health Visitor for 15, with my 4yr old grandson.
Last week they came over to my place, and she had painted her nails with a new red shade, and he had blue nails.
I laughed and said, are you trying to make him gay, and she said he asked her because he watched her doing hers.
We got into a discussion, and she said I was old fashioned, (she calls me grumps by the way), and that there was no harm, and children have to experiment, as he would probably do it himself if she wasn't looking.
I didn't agree, and she said, ask you friends on A/B, and see what they say, so I have!
I think I am right, what do you think?

Of course it is arbitrary, generally speaking, females wear lipstick, males tend not to, females paint their toenails, men tend not to.
I have to make it clear, that I base my comments on experience gained over a half a century, but clearly times have changed and so must opinions I presume.
LOl..I can't answer your last sentence as i don't understand it.

if it were my son i would be asking questions. io know many thai ladyboys and i ask them when they started out on their journey and they all say they used mums lipstick or played with girls dolls etc from a very young age.
wouldnt get overly annoyed about it though, hes still your grandson and nothing you can do will ever change him if he does grow up to be gay, so relax.

I do not believe this one incident is likely to have any affect on his sexuality. However being homosexual could be due to environment or nature. I suspect an element of both. Genes (or whatever) giving a possibility of becoming so, experiences may trigger that possibility. So in a sense it should be theoretically possible to "make" someone homosexual if they get whatever life experiences trigger that. But an infant's nail painting session ? Clearly not serious.
No "ladyboys" are not just gay. Mentally they are unable to accept the gender they are so mimic the other.

Sqad its a null hypothesis.
Your hypothesise that use of nail can predispose a male to become homosexual
because nail varnish is part of the appurtenances of femininity.
The null hypothesis is that NOT using nail varnish can predispose a female to homosexuality because NOT using nail varnish is part of the appurtenances of masculinity.
