Hi my partner and i are talking about having another baby (my daughter is 2 tomorrow) i had a really rough time in labour with her it ended in me having an emergancy c section and this is what is putting me off, i would really like 2 have a natural delivery. wen talking 2 a friend she said something along the lines of after 2 years you can have a natural delivery but if its before you possibly might not be able to something to do with the scar has anyone got any ideas as i feel a bit cheated that i havent experienced the natural side of things if you see wot i mean, and also has anyone else had there 2nd naturally. thanks

i dont think its that long, my mum was going to have a natural delivery a year after her c section, but had to have a section due to an emergency. if you ask your dr he should advise you further. Good luck

My first was c-section because he was breech.

My second was natural. My doctor told me I could choose either way. They were 3 years apart.

Natural was better in my case. I thought it was wonderful. even though I had terrible back labor. I had some pain medication in an IV which helped a lot with the labor pain. If you've had a Csection before, they automatically give you an IV. It's up to you if you want pain meds or not.

I was only in labor for about 6 hours though. And I did have a peziotomy (sp?). The recovery was soooo much better though, in my case.

I think if you keep active and exercise your labor is easier-and of course, try not to gain too much.

i've had three sections - first one an emergency and horrible - the other two were planned and FABulous!!
