My son is starting to get a bit curious now and seems to be forever playing with himself - the other day he said that he thought that there was 'a sausage in his winkie!'.....pmsl!
Has your son just started getting them or has he always had them?

The reason is physiological - and aplies to a lot of adult men as well -
the bladder is situated next to the Cowper's gland, which is responsible for the erection. When the male is lying down, and the bladder fills, it presses on the Cowper's and gives an involuntary erection, which subsides when the male stands up, the bladder moves off the gland, the erection subsides again.
That's why a lot of guys wake up with the 'morning glory' - perfectly natural, nothing to panic over.

my son started getting them at a really early age but this helped us to find out about his reallt tight foreskin and he got circumcised early enough that no infection set in.
He is also curious as to why i do not have a willy and i tried to explain to him that i have a "flower" instead, he then went on to ask me if it looks like a daffodil !!! the subject was quickly changed!
