is it chickenpox?

my daughter has been ill for the past 2 days with a high fever, this has gone and she has started getting spots that are red and a yellow middle, they started on her chin and they are at ythe top of her legs just under her nappy and just some red spots no yellow on her hand is it chickenpox? thanks

When my daughters had chickenpox the spots were just clear blisters that quickly dried to form dark scabs. What your daughter has doesn't sound like chickenpox to me but only a doctor could tell you for definite.

Hi lindseykav, I agree with Daffy. Chicken pox are normally a watery spot like a blister. If I was you, I would take her to the doctor to get them checked out so you know for certain. It is good her fever has gone though.

well it sounds like chickenpox to me and I have seen alot of it! When my daughter caught it they were just red spots at first some big and some small which then did get heads and scabbed over. Your daughter may get alot more or no more but the only way to find out for sure is the doctor
