Archie joke? hmmmm am i missing something again?

yes strictly it is short for archibald but i dont like archibold
Archibald 'Archie' Andrews was a Fictional American Comic Book Character also a Ventriloquist Dummy on British TV in 1950's and 60's with Peter Brough
It reminds me of Franceska's parrot.
Currently a very popular name - I know a few little Archies. ( and an Alfie) I think it is okay as long as your child doesn't look like a geek ;o)
cute x
Really good name. I think it helps if you know a charming boy called Archie and I do. Also know a Wilf and George and Harry and a Frank. I love all the old names.
Give him 2 names, Archie and another one . He can choose when he is older the name he wants to be called by.
My grandsons are called Jake and Jem , both old names but nice.
