I also think when pregnant, you get all sorts of pains. I'm just over 9 weeks pregnant with my second, and I'm getting sharp shooting pains everywhere, its basically the womb expanding, but of course I worry occasionally too.
Try not to worry, unless you get really bad cramps, and start bleeding.
Congratulations on your pregnancy by the way:-)

Hi Bethmullens,
I had the same problem 3 years ago with my first child the pains where hurting that bad that i went to the doctors and was sent for a scan as they thought it may be etopic, but everything was fine you could see the heartbeat but that was all. It is just ajusting pains things are getting prepared inside thats all.
Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Beth, yea I had the same thing with my first pregnancy, frightened the livin daylights out of me, and i was on holiday in Ibiza and had to call the doctor out who did not speak English!!! I was constantly worrying about misscarriage as well. It was a nightmare and i was worrying all the time. It is just normal your body adjusting and all that. Try to be reassured by the scan results, everything should settle down soon. Good luck :0)
