i don't believe this!

it's been 48 days since my last period (my last two have been 37 and 34 days). i feel pregnant! i have been pregnant before, and i feel exactly the same now. i've done 7 tests, all negative. spoke to the doctor and he smiled and said 'you never know, you could be 2 weeks'... which kind of got my hopes up. i've read on the net about how accurate pregnancy tests are, or aren't, and i'm just a bit frustrated at the minute. if i'm not pregnant, i just want my period to come so i know!! i feel very sick at times (keep rushing to the toilet but nothing comes up). i have an acid kinda taste in the back of my throat, and i've been weeing a lot. ggggrrrrrrr!!!

well the feeling of nausea and the weeing a lot are signs but could also be because you are wanting this so much!

Keep taking the tests every few days until you know one way or the other.

Start watching what you eat as well, just in case.

Did your doctor take a blood sample or a wee sample to be sent for a test to see if you actually are pregnant? he should have done!
i felt nauseous with my two and with my first could not stop weeing i'd just look after my body as though as i was pregnant no smoking drinking etc just until you know for sure.

Unfortunately dwaty, these days the doctors pretty much stay out of it and no longer do pregnancy testing. You can go to them and say youre pregnant and they take your word for it! So it doesnt surprise me they havent done anything in this case.

hotpink, what youre saying is exactly how I was feeling and also had negative tests. But like red has said, you can want it so much you get symptoms even if youre not pregnant. Im also keeping my fingers crossed for you....... keep testing!
