No daffy is not right because they are saying that i am being selfish when im not!! just think if i got a blood clot in this pregnancy it could danger my life and i could not even be here for my baby .. im thinking about us both
And the doctors dont listen i have said this before and if i induced myself they would have to listen
"35 weeks pregnant your baby has a 99.9% chance of survival "

There's still 1% chance of non-survival. Why take the risk? Do you think it's worth it?
If you know people that have done this, then I would suggest you ask them what they did and not put this question on here where sensible people are seriously trying to help you.

If you value your own life and your baby's life then speak to the relevant people.
if you want whats best for baby then start talking to your GP who diagnosed and can advise you and your midwife appropriately.

i cant believe that you do know a few others who have done this at 35 weeks. If you did then why would you even need to ask how to do it???
well why don't you ask those people then, if you know them.

i thought you people were meant to be helpful i asked a question thats all.
I AM NOT TRYING TO HARM MY BABY!!
and thanks to the people that have actually helped me on here
I'm starting to wonder whether this baby actually exists................
If you suffer from this syndrome you will have been treated for it since it developed in early childhood, so your family doctor will be aware of your condition, you should also have been seen by a specialist who can also give advice to your obstetrician.

You can throw a strop all you like about me saying you are selfish but I stand by that comment if you think you are fully informed about early labour just by reading about it for a few days.
Nobody in their right mind is going to give you advice on how to induce early labour so you HAVE to speak to your doctor about this whether you like it or not.
why hasn't your GP referred you to an obstetrician as a "high risk pregnancy"? If there is an increased chance that the pregnancy could cause you to die, or get a blood clot, why are you not being managed under hospital care? It dosen't make sense!
what has your GP (or the consultant who you see regarding this illness) said in the 8 months you have been pregnant??
And I am starting to wonder if this baby does exist whether mummy-to-be needs some help and quickly before she does the baby any harm.

A really strange question. Who in their right mind on an open site would advise anybody how to induce a 35 week baby!?
Bednobs. I'm beginning to doubt much of her tale here. I was considered high risk in my last pregnancy because I had previously suffered a spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and was monitored VERY closely throughout pregnancy and labour. Anyone with pre-existing medical conditions will have it noted on their pregnancy file and all staff caring for them will be aware of any risks.
I had less problems Daffy but they still monitored me very closely.
Exactly ummmm, there is no way her obstetrician is unaware of her condition, if there is any danger to her from it they would have admitted, monitored and induced by now.
Perhaps JTH's first posting on here might be more relevant!

you lot are sick of course my baby exists!!
and yes i am under hospital care and have a doctor but like im saying this condition is rare and not many people have it in the uk so the doctor ive got doesn't know anything about it!! and yes i had a doctor from a birth a peadiatric one and was taken from is care when i turned 16 and he has now retired.. this condition cannot be treated
well then speak to your obsterician about your concerns.
Just had a conversation similar to this with a colleague - do you know only 45 of Babies come on the due date - if you work out two weeks before and two weeks after 28 day then divide 100 by 28 thats almost 4%

are you not listening .. he doesnt know anything about it .. they are just hoping i will be ok
if your doctor doesnl;t know anything about it pront out copies of the 50 links i found on google and give them yo him and ask him to read them, it's quite simple, i read at leats 2 in the last 5 mins i so i probably know more than your GP supposedly does and I;d never heard of it before.
