My boyfriend is ginger with green eyes (his parents are not ginder, but both his grandads are. I have light brown hair and dark brown eyes, my parents are not ginger.

By the way...neither of my parents had ginger / red hair.....neither of THEIR parents did...nor did any of our cousins. But-all three of us kids did. Go figure genes....lol

With my first baby I was desperate to even find out the potential eye colour -i'm sure its just excitement.
My sis who was still at school worked out the eye colour using some biological formula -im sure she was just humouring me but she was right !!

My paternal grandpa was ginger, my dad's 3 sisters are ginger, my maternal grandpa was auburn and my mum is auburn. My ex husband is ginger as is his dad and his grandpa was too. I was positive I would have a ginger baby and really wanted a wee girl with my green eyes and her dad's red hair - she ended up with my (natural) mousey brown hair and her dad's blue eyes. Makes no odds to me - I'd still love her to bits if she was a hunchbacked cyclops :)

lol why is it very unlikely??? I have dark hair and hazel (mostly green) eyes, my son's father had gingerish hair and blue eyes, my son is ginger and has hazel (mostly brown) eyes. He does however have my skin, so isn't a freckley ging. the father's parents and my parents are not ginger. My friends baby is also ginger, one is blonde and the other is dark with no trail of ginger that they can find b ut seems they were both carrying the gene. My other son is dark haired with green eyes.

I am one of 7, 2 are dark, 2 are fair, 1 red and two strawberry blond. Both parents were brown haired.

You just can't tell.

I have friends who have three kids - he is half Indian and she is blond - eldest child is dark, but younger two are blond as can be. When he is out with just the little ones, you would swear that he had snatched them!

Your child willl be it's own unique person you would be as well to speculate whether it will have a big nose, long legs etc. you will get whatever the gene fight out resulted in when your baby was conceived.

My nephew and his wife are brown haired but her mother is ginger + freckles, they have two daughters one is strawberry blonde the other is auburn not ginger but a beautiful dark red.
your baby will be beautiful no matter what its hair colour is shan.
