I have just had the misfortune to find myself pregnat at 50.
I thought I was going my menopause for the last 3 years.
Been taking natural supplements an everything to help with the sweats and all that.
Was even using condoms..
I just didn't think it possible.

Anyone else ever gone through this?

I think you've done your bit to continue the human race! And I would have thought doctors would be mor sympathetic to older women anyway. Your choice (I'm sure I would have made the same), and good luck.

four months gone- thats 20 weeks?

Not sure if it's been put out there, but have you thought of adoption? As gutted as i'd be in your position, im not sure i personally could go through with a termination at that late stage.

Hope I haven't upset you, but I dunno, makes me wince at that far in the pregnancy.

I could never go full term then NOT have the baby in my eyes whats the point of that in my circumstance. I've given all birth I'm giving!

4 months is 16 weeks, and although abortions are carried out much later i really wouldnt suggest that its ever left that long unless there are serious medical issues.

Bear in mind I was going 6 months or so with no period. When I was literally kicked in the ribs thats when it dawned on me!!.
