Anybody Have Advice For Homelessness/council?

One of my sons has been staying with a friends family but they've fallen out big time and he's been thrown out. He's literally in town with all his possessions in a bag. He has no money and no vehicle and no job. He also suffers from depression. Yes he could come here but I live hours away and he has two little children where he is and wants to be near them. If he walks to the council offices what will they do?? Will they just turn him away?ive looked on their website but there are so many factors to consider and he doesn't want to say the wrong thing.

Not sure why but I assumed that the hostel would let him stay there in the daytime too. But he isn't allowed in till 10pm and has to be out at 8.30am ...

So glad he has got a job, the next thing is a regular place to live.

I hope things can go well for him.

He's going to alternate staying at his sisters and staying at a friends whose house is frankly a hovel but if he can stick at the job then in a couple of weeks he'll be able to rent a room in a house share
