Naturalisation And A British Passport
Hi can someone explain to me how I apply for my wife to get naturalisation or a British passport, (I am British),she has been in this country since 1997, she is originally from Madeira Portugal. We have been married since 2008 and we have had two children born here, who have British passports.
It is nuisance to have to go back every time she needs a new ID or passport, and we have no plans to move there.
Is it better to start the preocess now or wait to after Brexit, and what do we have to do, as the government website is very confusing. Would it be better to seek out a solicitor who specialises in this field.
Thanks in advance for any help you can supply
