We used to say the exact same about our son he had a really good french accent!! he has grown out of it now thankfully!! so i can totally understand where your coming from!!!
does he watch Muzzy? or a lot of any other kind of TV? I know when i was younger i insisted on speaking American as thats what you heard most often on the TV.
I was going to say the same as spudqueen. It does happen. My friends brother instead of saying No he would say nine (german spelling is rubbish sorry) and one day he sat in the front room and said when I was bigger I used to fly planes and drop things in the sky. Now that is spooky. He'll grow out of it when he gets bigger. As he is only 2 they dont always pronounce words correctly and sometimes miss the letter H and L etc.
My son was a very early talker - when he was about 2 he told us that when he was a grown up he used to live in a big tower and the master of the tower wasn't a very nice man and that he had hurt his leg. He said that the master wasn't very nice to the lady that looked like a princess. He aslo woke from a dream screaming and said that the men were chasing him with hammers and swords. At that age he could never have come across the word master in that context before, it was really spooky. He doesn't talk about it any more though.
it is great detail psychick, but then he started talking before he could sit up - his first real word apart from mama and dadad was "yellow" - it was a bit of a party trick - we could point to something yellow and say what colour is this and he would say "yellow" on cue - he was only about 7 months old. He could talk in sentences by the time he was 18 months. My older son was 2 and a half at the time, and the little one could speak better than him! He is still a sponge as far as language is concerned. He is very articulate for a not yet 6 year old. It is a pity that we don't speak another language, as I sure that we could have him fluent in no time!
Nah - his head is big enough - I am only managing to stay one step ahead of him as it is - if he thought he had one over on me, it would be curtains as far as discipline and respect go in our house. lol I love him to bits, but he is a cocky wee so and so! - sometimes you just have to take him down a peg or two, or he would be impossible to live with!
I do believe it's bleedthrough from another life. Kids have the ability to remember a lot about who they are in another life. We should encourage them.
