I was brought up in local authority children's homes from the age of 3 months.I had to grow up quickly and missed out on a lot.It has made me stronger though so in a way i'm grateful that my mum was/is a useless waste of space.

I have spent all of my own parentlng life trying so hard to be the total opposite of them, so yes ~ it has affected my life in that way.
