My estranged wife owes 2 joint debts at the end of each month, these werer both taken off resulting in missed payments which I subsequently paid and got the charges revoked, she insists that she will only pay in on the last working day effectively forcing me to pay and have to wait for her to re-imburse me. she also wont take any responsibility in terms of administering the account. I am currently waiting to get the joint mortgage in my sole name and feel that she is using this against me as its imperative we dont default on anything

what can I do about this?

Its emotionally draining me & despite texting her, e-mailing her and her lawyer to try and explain the ethics & being perfectly reasonalbe they are just ignoring me making me very angry cant beleive the women I loved was capable of such callousness

You say "your estranged wife" then "we dont default" contradictory statements.

I cant understand why you're paying her bills when you're estranged nor why her bills could affect your mortgage.
I used to be one of those lovely people that calls up people who owe the bank money and tries to make them pay :-)

If debts are in both names I think there's not much you can do about it as the bank (or whoever you owe) can pursue you both and if you are dealing with a mortgage you certainly don't want to default.

If you need the money sooner in the month than she is willing to pay it may be worth seeing a solicitor yourself who will contact her or her solicitor on your behalf.
