Does anyone know where i can obtain a copy of my Decree asolute...iv`e tried on line but it says �70 fee!!!

can you remember the court where it was granted? you could write to them for a copy

The county court where your divorce was handled. Our local charges �40 if you dont have the original case number or �5 if you do. As long as it was less than 25 years ago they can do a search straight away and print and seal one while you wait. If you are not sure of the court or it was 25+ years theres a registry you can write to that charges but im not sure of the amount (�80?) and you can get their number from the local court.
