stopping bad habits

My daughter, who's 8 years old, is always picking her nose. I think she just does it without realy thinking about it but I was wondering what the best way would be to get her to stop. When I see her do it she'll stop but not for long. Any ideas?

Don't make a fuss about it - fingers came before hankies! Just make a joke about it as zz suggested, or pass her a tissue everytime you see her doing it. She'll stop it eventually.
