I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

Morning all...heck, slow on here, I've just been in recent posts for 11 mins...and counting.

Very cold/frozen but bright. Got my snuggle up tv fleece ready to peg out, it's had a lot of use & was in need of a freshen up.
Hope you're all mobile and more settled today. I'm stiff and achey again, went to bed at 9 last night, some days aren't worth getting showered & dressed for. And yes shaney, even though some days/weeks are very long, when you look back life is very fleeting. I think I've said this before but I find it hard to comprehend that I'm now older than some of my older friends.

Have a lovely time Jude, happy Easter...do you drive there?

lol woofy...the same goes for me too swetineti.
Good morning All my lovely friends. Yes Robi time flies doesn't it. I know just what you mean. It only seems 5 minutes since I retired but it's about 6 years. Thanks for the 'Happy Easter' - I go on the train it's straight through and only takes 2 hours 10. So relaxing. And I have my Kindle and a sudoku book. It takes about 2hours30 by car depending on the traffic. So I know which I prefer.
I hope you all Have a lovely weekend too. I'll be back on Tuesday.
See yer later 'gater(s) x

Have a super Weekend Jude and happy Easter to you and yours!

Just back from villge where everyone is in happy mood, drinking champers and wine, not me :-( though. Lounge curtains all washed and dried and am looking a the possibility of not ironing them but think I may have too. Then am going to sunbathe on patio for an hour!

Lounge curtains ironed and are a couple of inches shorter but they woill hange and be OK soon! (I hope) Hija's duvet cover, 3 pillowcase and frilly valance sheet all ironed and put away, mattress turned, leccy blanker put away, now am gonna look for bikini and expose this gorgeous body to the sun!!

It's been one o them days....
it looks like it might be a damp Easter here, followed by a trip to cold Heathrow, but at least my roots have been canalled. I have had another half-somniac night but I just pretend I am back in my normal time zone and email people, so I am not wasting time. Maybe back in bed by lunchtime, so I'll have to send a friend to visit you

Boom boom boom, the infernal sound of the drums in the Easter procession going up to the Puig den missa, Chruch on the Hill, with the cofradas that look like Klu klus klanners, and Jesus carrying his cross and people wailing and flogging themselves for their sins, it's all very dreary and much as I could do with a bit of fun, that isn't fun at all, so am staying put in bed watching Eastenders.

Tomorrow night the procession comes back with a cruxified Jesus and all the rigmarole. The locals love it all.

good morning my friends.

Glad jno is root canalled and all is well again, what a way to spend a holiday, I ask you!!!

Enjoyed Prisoners Wives last night, it is a good programme isn't it?

Nothing much happening here, Good FRiday, lovely weather miserable day, shops shut, but at least the cafes are open. When I first came here, we were not allowed to play pop music only serious music and not loud. The discoteques opened at 00.05 (sat morning) and we all waited with baited breath for that moment then whooped into the disco and partied like mad!!
Morning all...cold (what's new?) but bright at the moment. Crip night sleep, child next door crying on the hour, every hour, crows start at 4am, some worrying to do, etc..... Oh pee po belly.

Richard Griffiths, actor, only 65, has died, I liked him.
Oh that's sad .He was a cuddly man .I used to like him in Pie in the Sky .
It's the same temps here but bright and sunny and I'm full of the joys of ...er....peppermint tea :)
I love the bunny Jno and hope your teeth are ok and the rest of you of course .
Thank you Neti ,you have a nice weekend too .
Keep trucking people ....it must warm up soon .
tea 'n tst break, trying to stay awake...I see jno's/neti's Easter bunny is working hard....tut

Oh deep joyload, there is a super orchestra playing in the town square, and playing really nicely, not like the local band, very pleasant having coffee and listening to it.

Mr N has informed me that we are dining out tonight so another deep joyload! Have also ordered an Easter Egg for me, so hopefully he will pay cos he's got my car and I cannot go and collect it.

Off to start some ironing as have washing all summer clothes and need to put them away!
RIP Richard Griffiths x
.....nope, seems to have been removed as it's now considered defunct.
oh poo... it chopped my first line off which said

thumbs through dictionary for 'summer clothes'

Gosh Robinia, you keep your summer clothes in a dictionary? You must be thin!!
