I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

yep, saves ironing them...speaking of thin (or not) did you see the Chase last night? woo! Anne wasn't amused by the teacher's quip was she, and nor would I have been. I wouldn't have dreamt of saying something like that....but she was quickly despatched. there are comments on the FB page for The Chase too.
Lol..yes I saw that Robinia .I'm so glad Anne wiped the floor with her .Nasty woman ,she was really up herself .
The other one amused me too ,the actress, she was bit I love me too. .Fancy an actress not knowing who Joan Littlewood was.Haha.
What did she say to the Chaser, I was in the kitchen and missed it??
Well I don't remember every word neti, I only sat up and took notice at her awful comment.....she was a 50 something former teacher & mentioned (I think) something about having been to(?) weight watchers. Then there was a bit of chat and she piped up with something like I can't respect anyone who doesn't take care of their weight (obviously meaning Anne).
I didn't know it was a repeat, it took me a while to discover The Chase so there are a lot I haven't seen before.
just back from watching the procession, scary, will put a couple of piccies on here tomorrow, and then we had a lovley chinese meal, I brought half od min home. Met two of my exes in the village, the doctor who I was engaged to in 72 and then another one, poor Mr N, didn't have a clue who they were until I told him, I mean he know of them but not face to face!!

Oight oight all x

Hello all, another lovely busy day. the cold weather is playing hob with my sinusses though but nothing that sterimar and paracetamol wont fix. We had chinese food for tea, home made chilli beef with home made sweet and sour prawns, egg noodles, veggie saffron rice (home made) and marks's chinese spare ribs. yummy.
tired now...oight oight
Morning all...sun in and out here but a good layer of ice on the bird baths. Sorry you're suffering with your sinuses woofy but I'm glad I'm not alone in blaming the weather, just when I'd thought I was better mine have flared up again this past two days.
Don't know why I bothered shaving my legs this morning, they're not gonna be on show unless blue knees are this weeks trend.
well now it's snowing and that wasn't on the menu....
Morning all, Hja is 27 today blimey!!!
Hello all
Still cold .Was bright and sunny but dulled over now and it's been snowing .
This weather has a lot to answer for ,sorry for anyone poorly.
My bones are creaking and this morning I've got that zigzag flashing in my eye .
In spite of the weather we seem to have lots of visitors arriving in town for the weekend .I don't think they'll be doing much paddling or sitting on the beach though .
Happy Birthday to your daughter Neti ,wish her a nice one from me xx

FRiday procession, really scares me, so we had a meal when it was passing. Actually it was a good procession this year, and yes they "crucified" some poor chap but he only hangs on to the nails, and pops down for lunch.

Really warm here but very windy, I have been chasing hither and thither for an Easter Egg for me, and got one with 2 creme eggs in it, nightmare driving today, so much traffic and tourists!
Oh shaney Robi and I get that zigzag flashing in the eye, she says it's something migraine, but mine only lasts 20 mins but I hate it.
I'm sure you're right shaney, this cold sparks of a lot of ailments. Hope your sight settles and doesn't leave you feeling horrible.

Happy birthday to your daughter neti.
I haven't got an egg, I haven't got much chocolate in at all....I'll run out and mug the next person I see going by with some. :)
yes, ocular or eye migraine neti and 20 mins is the average time for one...it's the painful ones which last for hours/days.
Oh dear, is jno back? I now have someone called Caroline who loves me on email, why can't Jose Luis come bacK??
I get this zigzagging quite a lot lately and often feel a slight pressure in the scalp part of my head and forehead above that eye .Not a headache exactly .
It's gone off now .Another medical mystery .
Mr S bought me a packet of mini eggs ....perhaps that'll cure it :)
I must pay more attention ..tut..I've just looked up ocular migraine .
Thanks Robinia . That's exactly it .
I would blame the biddies for my ocular migraines, but I did have them before I was on here, even though I was unaware of what they were! I also get a stabbing pain in the front right part of my head, it only lasts a few seconds but I am convinced it's a tumour even though I've had it for at least 20yrs!!!
I've just googled it and wish I hadn't, I don't have to tell the medico do I, I could never explain it in Spanish anyway, I do worry about getting one when I am driving but never have yet!
that parade looks very... folkloric, neti. Obviously not at all a British thing to do.

Well, it is the second cloudy day in a row here, there was even some rain but not enough to wash the car unfortunately (or rescue the farmers); the temperature is only 20 degrees - it's horrendous, I'm nearly freezing, if it goes on like this I will have to wear a cardy when I go out and put a blanket on the bed.

I hope everyone's heads are feeling better for Easter
