I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

Thank you jude, I love Steady singing this song.
Thanks Neti. It's funny you chose a Beatles number as well. Mine was the one I've been struggling to get on all night.

Blackbird is one of my favourites and Steady does a great version
Oh that's lovely Jude .I like Blackbird too.
Does he do requests ?
Can I have I'll Follow the Sun please :)
Good morning all.

Yes "I'll follow the sun!" please Steady.

Gosh I´m cold but to be fair have just been handwashing in the laundryroom in cold water, back in bed now with a cuppa and the cat!

Good morning. Over the last couple of days I have been making a real effort to eat healthily. Result? Stomach upset and the night from hell. I am going back to chips.
Morning all...sunny and froz.

Sorry you had a bad do woofy. I swear it was a health kick that started my IBS about 7 years ago and I've never been the same since. If things go in seven year cycles it might settle this year if I'm lucky.

Well done Jude, haha, you got there in the end...he has a lovely voice and I like that song too. It was one of those songs I'd never really taken notice of until I heard Justin Hayward who does a good version too with Phil and his Harmonica on the Classic Blue album....it's on youtube but they call it Unknown Singer.

Gout is very painful neti, my ex father in law had it. Hope it eases soon. I've bought a small gift to cheer you up...

Eeeek ! two coloured pegs, still not acceptable!

How do I actually know if it is gout? I don't think I believe my medico! Will have to lay orf the jolly ole port say what!!

Surprisingly chilly here today, I actually went for a little walk - first time since I came back in December. Toe doesn't seem to hurt in my new Primark boots, they are solid and flat and fitted on the foot instead of slouching!

Gout is an inflammation, a cousin of rheumatoid arthritis. It can be confirmed by blood test. In the uk mild cases are treated with voltarol (diclofenac)
Oh dear have frightened myself looking at pictures of gout. But I think it must be what I have, caused by physical trauma (kicking the edge of the door) and hypertension. Oh am not too happy.

Now how are the rest of you? Woofy why bother changing your diet? now you feel rough, get back to the chips.

We arer having Thai tonight, chicken, pot and peanut curry in coconut milk, pad thai (home made) and thai rice.
Morning all.....just
Nice and bright here , not as cold as it was but still chilly .
Hope you are all Ok .
Has el medico given you any medication for the gout Neti ?
I see Morrisons are starting on line shopping .That'll be handy .
All I need to do now is convince the nice man at the library to drop my books off for me and I'll never need to leave the house again :)

I'm the same Woofy ,too many "healthy "foods upset me .
Have some stodge ,hope it soon settles for you .
Those little yogurt drinks are soothing .
Medico just said to take some painkillers that I already have (and do not use) Aceclofenaco 100mg (sorry it's Spanish no idea what it is in English) but am not taking anything for it, and that reminds me, haven't taken a statin for about a week, better pop one or two down.
That's enough domesticity. I do miss Vinny...his toofbrush was perfect for cleaning nooks and crannies, mine are a bit small and soft....hehe.

The reason for the cleaning was a clatter from the kitchen and finding one of my money plants had keeled over, fallen off the window sill and scattered compost everywhere....my own fault, I could see it was getting top heavy. I hope it's a sign my finances are going to become too big for my piggy.
I'll buy us that twilight home and call it the Stodge Lodge and we'll have a handyman called Rodge the Bodge.
I'm getting fed up with bothering about what I eat. I just hope that at the end of May when I go for my next blood test things are normal.

Steady says he's know I'll follow the Sun so you neveer know he may just do it.

On this link my friend's son is playing trombone. They were all Students together, now Drs. Dentists and Computer buffs. They only play 5 or 6 times a year when they can get together.
It's my kind of music as well. I used go an sdee all the big Bands. Ted Hedath, Johnny Dankworth, Ken Mackintosh et al!

Please excuse errors. My specs need cleaning. That's my excuse and I'm sicking to it. :)
Sicking ??!! I really will have to go and clean them now...

I'll just put Steady's other Beatles number on then I'm off to do it.

Also love Bobby Darin.

Am using my mobile's 3G as a tethering spot as my wifi is down, and I think it is unlimited for 8€ a month. Hope so!!

Very windy here, washed two quilted bed covers, one set of kingsize sheets, 4 pillowcases, 3 sets pj's, towels, and normal washing and it is all dry, lovely.

Yes please get Steady to sing for the biddies!
