I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

Morning all...slightly warmer but wet 'n windy. Blackbirds seem happy to be able to dig in the soil...when they're not pecking each other's eyes out that is. I'm not so chirpy, had a lousy night, I'm tired and my eyes feel like someones been pecking them, they hurt.

lol neti, you were right with desert...this is a dessert boot which will definitely keep him sweet..Happy father's day Mr N.

Actually we can have cake that for jno's birthday.

good morning all, especially (and with apologies) to Shaney who was invisible to my tired eyes last time. I have slept and showered and can see more now.
Dessert boots....is that like drinking champagne out of a lady's slipper?
Its quite springlike here now, damp and mild and grey bright.
yesterday I spent way too much money on this but I have lusted after it for years

d'oh desert then, but I did say to keep him sweet, so dessert is forgiven!
Hello all
Dry ..so far ,but still chilly up the lokes .
Hope you are all Ok and any medical mysteries are minimal .
Nothing much doing here .I've been moving dust from one room to another and generally fiddling about achieving nothing much really .

wonder where lottie is, hope she is OK. has she gone on holiday?
Question Author
yup shaney, I've got my seeing head on. Hope Lottie is ok, I dont remember her mentioning a holiday Neti.
We have had a holiday day. Went to town and had hamburgers and shopped lidls..nothing much bought except some of their excellent lobster bisque, the deluxe brand that comes in a jar. Dogs are happily asleep.
I have sold a dvd machine for 10€ am starting to enjoy this, Mr N had better not stand still for too long, I'll sell him!

Leccy blipped this pm, Sky went off but that was easy to get back oin, but the desktop computer wouldn't start, blast, no internet connection yesterday and now now computer, at least the laptops were all working, I unlougged it for half an hour and hey ho it started again, relief!

Hija staggered in mid-afternoon not full of the joys, and provedded to eat us out of house and home (but then she usually does and she's as thin as a pole!) so the left over thai that I was gonna doctored up for tonight disappeared in the blink of an eye, so I had to quickly defrot some mince and make a bolognaise sauce, not overly exciting but did the job. Have now washed up and mopped the floor and bathed and in bed watching comic relief!

Have to say it is jolly cold tonight, I have actually left washing out and some b has started a bonfire (my pet hate) grr!
Hi All. A bit late in the day but I hope you had a great birthday Jno...wherever you are I hope the sun is shining for you!!.
I went for a walk in the rain for an hour this morning. I had my music in my ear so it didn't seem too bad. Then I went for lunch with my friend over the road. We are the longest living residents of this close. :) True!!
I hope all aches and pains are now at a minimum. I'm going to soak in the bath in between watching Comic Relief.
I did post a little while ago that I had a chat with Lottie and she said to say she sends her love and will be back. We were on the phone for only a few minutes and I told her we were all thinking about her. If you missed my post I'm sorry.
I hope you all have a good weekend. I know we're destined for rain everyday. So another decision for me is do I go to watch The Rams play tomorrow evening in the rain or watch it on Telly.
With that thought I'll say oight oight everyone...x
Sorry about my typing, no excuse.

Oight oight all. x
Question Author
wet and windy here, oight oight all.
Morning all
Damp and dreary .
I'm off to the market later hence dragging myself out of bed at sparrows .
Hope you are all Ok .
See you later hopefully .my internet kept crashing last night ..again .Grrr.
Morning all...grey and wet.

I feel like a limp lettuce, I had the mother of all sinus headaches from lunchtime onward yesterday (the change of air pressure no doubt) and it's still threatening today.

Is it the tree you've bought woofy? It's really lovely. These look like a good offer, have any of you ever grown them?

No need for you to answer neti, I'm guessing you haven't.
Good morning,
^^ That tree stuff is all foreign to me.
Question Author
good afternoon all, we are a load of dirty stay in beds here.
yes Robi this one
http://www.gardenshop.telegraph.co.uk/plants/_/trees/small-garden-trees/prunus-mume-beni-chidori/classid.2000011175/

and I paid a fiver more at the garden centre but of course no p and p and I chose my own plant. Dogs have gone back to sleep again, they are idle devils!
It'll be beautiful and not too big woofy...will you be having a celeb to plant it? How about the Ibiza Editor?

cackles
Question Author
Nah, Ibiza Ed has got a brown thumb! Its staying in the tub I bought it in. The garden has to have tough (cheap) things in it on account of destructor dogs. I have my nice things in tubs and switch them around on the patio according to the season.
Good morning all. I wish I knew more about gardening like you al do. I just plant pants and keep my fingers crossed!!
Was going to Football today to watch my young niece play but the pitch is waterlogged. I bet Pride Park isn't. It 's another local derby today against Leicester.
Mylap top has now gone so slow I really don't know what to do. Cleared all history etc. but no change.
The sun has been out for about 10 minutes and then disappeared. I think the forecast is rain most of the weekend.
Have a good day all. Laters 'gaters!
That's a lovely plant Woofy and I like those others Robinia ,very colourful .
I wish the weather would break ,not that I can do a lot in the garden these days but at least when the gardener has been and tidied it I can fiddle about .
It was freezing in Beccles but I got some goodies .There's a stall that does lovely pies ,so it's steak and mushroom pie tonight .
We had a hot choc and a sausage roll in the garden centre on the way home so I could see the goats .They are so sweet .I must take my camera next time .
My internet seems to be whizzing along again atm .Fingers crossed .
Ooops! First sentence is rubbish I'll leave it for you to work out....
