Starters: Chicken liver pate with tarragon - melba toasts salad garnish
OR
Pea and smoked ham soup choice of roll
OR
Deep fried haloumi cheese with a green tomato, apple and caramelised onion relish

Mains: Roast leg of venison with a port and hedgerow jelly sauce, selection of spring veg and new potatoes
OR
Sautee of lambs liver, with little bacon rolls and onions, creamy mash, spring greens onion gravy
OR
Chinese stir fry Chicken and prawns, with bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, spring onions, red and yellow peppers, mange tout, served with either lemon, hoi sin or black bean sauce, soft noodles or boiled rice.

Puds:
Malibu cheesecake ( pineapple on top, toasted coconut on the outside edge, Malibu in the cheesey bit!

Golly, the haloumi sounds interesting. I normally just whap it on the barbie, and scoff it.

And I can never resist liver.

can i have a pud to start, stir fry chicken (no prawns) with soft noodles, the other pud (don't like coffee cake :( ) cheese and crackers and coffee and mints to finish (god i am hungry today) x

it's on the table Ummm, all steaming hot and glistening with rich port gravy, the new potatoes in a bowl, dotted with chopped parsley, swimming in butter....the greens, lightly cooked, carrots baby small and succulently sweet...
god yes please, i forgot to eat last night i'm so hungry i could eat my arm
